Together in Movement CIC was born from a simple belief: every child deserves to feel welcome, included, and given the opportunity to take part.
Founded by Jodie Warren, Together in Movement CIC was inspired by her own experience as a parent. After attending a children's activity with her son, she left feeling isolated and disappointed that simple adaptations had not been considered to help every child participate. That experience sparked a passion for creating inclusive opportunities where every child and every family feels welcomed, supported and included.
Through running her own children's music and movement franchise, Jodie has spent years delivering engaging sessions for children of all abilities. This experience has allowed her to build strong partnerships with organisations supporting children and their families.
As an activity provider, Jodie has delivered sessions at Dingley's Promise, a specialist preschool for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and with The James Hopkins Trust, providing music and movement experiences for children with life-limiting and life-changing conditions and their families. She also worked alongside Solving Kids Cancer UK, creating and delivering an online music and movement session for children receiving treatment in hospital or living in isolation, ensuring they could continue to enjoy meaningful activities wherever they were.
These experiences have given Jodie a deeper understanding of the barriers many families face and reinforced her belief that every child deserves access to meaningful, inclusive opportunities.
Together in Movement CIC builds on this passion by creating inclusive opportunities through music, movement and community projects. Working alongside families, settings, charities and local organisations, the CIC aims to remove barriers to participation, promote understanding, and ensure that every child, regardless of ability or need, has the chance to learn, play, move and have fun.
